I've always used floor stands, probably because my older brother did. Followed by example. I know there are a lot of you that use wall hangers, even for your vintage Wicks. And we all know they are hanging by their necks at Warwick HQ lobby & guitar shops all over etc. I imagine at some point it's just easier to store a shite load of basses that way.
Can hanging them actually be good for keeping necks straight over the years? Or, could it put undo strain on the headstock, or neck joint, of BO basses in particular.
Or does it not matter in the slightest?
Your thoughts?
