I just checked out the Group JVH started and found that you can view the group without joining it and you can subscribe to it so you can keep your eye on it without actually joining it. But to actually post a comment in the groups discussion or post a pick, you have to join the group and become a member of it.
I thought that was pretty cool and it gave me an idea. That would be a cool way to do the Various Clubs, such as Streamer, Vette, Buzzard, ect.. Clubs. And although I don't know if the software will do it, we could also have a rule in place.. that to actually join the vette club (for example) you have to actually own one. So, since I don't actually own one, I could still check out the pics of everyones basses, but just not post comments in the exclusive thread. People can and still will post pics of their new basses in a general forum thread, but this would just give the club members their own club house just for them.
