Got Around Town Today

I couldn't stand being couped up in my house any longer, so I had my dad choufer me around to some music and book stores. I stopped by The Bass Place and they asked how I was doing, plus they have the Warwick Forum Poster that I gave them posted in their store. They got several cool Warwicks in stock, including a Streamer $$ and a Dolphin SN. Also a couple of Katana BOs and a Flamin' Blonde LTD. Lots of other cool basses and a great selection of amps as well!

I ended up finding about 25 old issues of Bass Player magazine that I didn't have at a couple of Bookmans stores, so I bought them up. It's cool seeing Warwick ads from back in 1991-1998! :D

Anyway, it was nice getting out and about so soon after my bone marrow transplant! The doctors are encouraging me to get out some (I may have overdid it today, but I'm doing fine so far) and it really helped break the boredom and give me some energy!
 
Awesome, congrats on the BP finds!

Must be great to walk up to a wall of Warwicks and say "I own that one, and that one, and that one... oh, and that one too!"

Nice to know you're still suffering from GAS... thought maybe all the meds may have accidentally cured that too :lol:
 
Good to hear you're doing well.

Must be nice to have a store like that nearby to mess with all the cool stuff.
 
great find on thos emagazines brother. Hang in there, I am glad you are able to go out and enjoy the outdoors... and indoors of music stores!!! :twisted: :wink: :lol:

I didn't think to try it 'cause I haven't been interested in a Flamin' Blonde myself. I spent more time talkin' to the guys at the shop - they're some of the coolest dudes in bassdom!
