Got a serial number which can't be found in the serial number lookup.

Hi.

I got a serial number from a bass i'm about to buy, but the serial i got can't be found with serial number lookup.
Is there any other way to get any information about the bass.
I've been told its and Warwick Corvette Std 4-strings.
I've seen a low resolution image that shows it looks like one.

Is there any way to get info about what pickups it has. Wood, material, etc?

Hey Rob, if you check the serial numbers page it states that the database only has basses made after 2000. Guess what year yours was made. ;)
 
Aye, i noticed that after i made the post here. As i can understand the bass is made June 1996.
Got a deal with a guy where i can buy it for about €200, must be a good deal isn't it?
 
€200 for a Corvette STD?

Get that bass, NAO! Make sure it's ok though, especially the neck/trussrod (which will be kind of tough to check), and also electronics.
 
The guy selling it ensures it's ok, no problems wiht it, he just need cash fast. Though it seems kinda suspicious...
 
If something is too good to be true... it generally is!

Just keep your wits about you though and it might just be a genuine bargain find.
