Going to see Rush ... again!

Guess I'm in that Jealous line too ...
Seen Rush 4 times now, first time being on the farewell to kings tour, and Rush is always a great show. To see a 3 piece band be able to reproduce the music on their albums in a live setting is absolutely amazing to me. I took my brother with me once and he had the nerve to actually ask me if they were actually playing any of the music. He just couldn't fathom 3 guys doing all that themselves, til at one point I handed him my binoculars and said check out the bassplayer. There was Geddy, one hand playing his bass, one hand playing a keyboard, one foot running some foot pedals, and he was singing at the same time. Any questions Bro ? And while doing all this, you can see on his face, he is having a blast! Geddy has so much fun on stage and you can read it on him like he was a book. Neil on the other hand is pretty unreadable. I swear that man is a machine behind his kit. I have read that music and playing the drums are like a religion to Neil and maybe that you can read on him. He seems at such peace behind his kit as tho he were in some zen state. I have to say, the only one I like WATCHING playing the drums more than Neil is Terry Bozzio, but I do find at a Rush concert my binocs are focused on Neil almost as much as Geddy. And Alex ... probably the most readable of the bunch ... you want to know how the show is really going, watch Alex's face.
Anyway ... I know you'll have a great time ... So Enjoy the show and remember we or at least I want to hear all about it after word.
