I'm sure there must be other people on the forum who know Manchester better, but you should head to Oxford Road for Johnny Roadhouse and to Deansgate for Forsyths, though I don't guarantee either will have any Warwicks. I think there was at least one other music shop on Oxford Road, and there used to be a SoundControl just off Oxford Road by the railway bridge - but I don't know what happened to it after SC went down.
