ok guys im looking at getting some new gear next year because i will have the monye
anyway what i currntly have is below so

should i look into getting a new bass (thumb nt or vampyre sn) or a bigger amp (somtheing a bit more agresive) i playing in drop b these days and my corvtte bo $$ tiger sounds better this way the next bass i will get will again be for this tuneing as will the amp

Well, that would have to be weighed against your need or potential future needs, and which cab you currently have.

Looking at your impressive line up of basses my first thought would be build up your amp, but you also have a very impressive rig. That 500w head with the 411 cab (especially if its the 4 ohm cab) will handle most things very nicely. The first thing that came to my mind was to add a second cab and again, the first thing that came to my mind was the wca 115 pro in keeping with your current rig and taking your drop tuning into account. But that brings up the ohmage question, as well as, power. You'd probably need a bigger head for this. But as I said, your current rig is impressive as it is, so why not keep it as is and just get your self another rig. so for my actual 2 cents worth ....

wca 115 (8 ohm)
And I tend to nod towards the ND cabs

that is ofcoarse if you ment this to stay in the Warwick realm.

Gotta agree with Randy that you seem pretty
well set up. I notice that both your Vetts are
$$, so if you don't REALLY need anything and
you just wanna expand your sonic horizons,
why not add something 'jazzier', a JazzMan or
a J-J or P-J, with a lotta maple content ?

Not saying it's what you NEED, just that it's
really different than what you got ....

If i were you i would upgrade the amp head, the profets are warwick's cheapest heads, i would look at an xtreme or maybe even a Tubepath to help get that perfect tone. After all, isn't the whole point of the $$'s to be complete tone monsters?
