Had a GAS attack resulting in a bubinga fretless Corvette Standard 4-string. Now the bigger question, flats or rounds? :D

The Loyal Opposition checking in here .....

I'm not stubborn ... a couple of my FL's
have rounds, but the multitude of them
have flats.

Thanks for all the input guys. I was leaning towards rounds myself. I have to laugh a bit because the answer to this age old debate is the total opposite at another particular forum I used to frequent.

Use rounds, Elixrs are coated and feel smooth so they wont rip your fingers off from sliding.

Actually I'd say flats, but thats just me.

Black Label mediums on the way. :) Been a few years since I've owned a fretless. Looking forward to it again.

So you already bought it??? W.A.T.P.?

:)
Yes, I bought it already. It should be here Friday so I'll post pics then. Bought it used from a reputable store a few hours drive from me.

IMO best strings out there...even with a cheap Squier they make a difference lol

LaBella Black Nylon Tapewounds..... smooth like butter 8: but with a snap of habanero

Month ago I would have said flats, but if you wanna get fretless sound fretless get rounds.

I love nylon flats but I've only ever used them on a Fender.

I'd definitely say pure nickel flats!

Anyone use groundwound/pressurewound? Tempted to throw on some Rotosound Solo Bass strings on my fretless Stage II when it arrives.
