It's only located on the 23rd frets of my A and D string. Any suggestions of getting rid of it? I know I don't play all the way up there that often...but it's just so bugging still!!! It'd be okay if I at least heard the note ring out, but it's just so buzzy that my ears just rattle.
 
Is it playing amplified, unplugged, or both?

Just tried mine and they seem OK! Just a thought, seeing the location of the problem... maybe the string is vibrating against the very end of the fretboard... and maybe only on the A and D string because of the curvature of the board (?)

If I'm right, maybe you could just gently file down the end of the fretboard... give it a sort of "rolled" edge... assuming you haven't got an NT bass! Personally I wouldn't want to upset the rest of the bass by too many adjustments just to get those two notes.
 
Perhaps raise the bridge just a tad might help...
 
yeh or if its just the A and D strings just raise the saddles a little might do the trick.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest.

You don't want to mess with anything else - if that's all that you are having issues with. . .
