hey folks.

i want to share some of the fine things of the music exposition in frankfurt with you.
here are some pics. BUT:
in case you already suffer from that so called GAS, you may want to just close this window...

2 very nice streamers

a dolphin made of bird's eye maple (is that right ?) and a very nice corvette nt with zebrano wings (what a monster !!)

2 buzzards, the first one is nt, made of zebrano, the second one is bolt on, looks like tigerwood to me.

flame maple katana, natural finish, and a beautiful stryker made of quilted maple in antique tabacco

on the left you see the root of a tree. may this be bubinga pommele ?
and on the right, you can see a really cool looking bass rig from hiwatt

SOME MORE PICS

marleaux consat. the fretless one looks really sweet doesn't it ?

framus rig, with bubinga pommele boxes. looks like very expensive furniture

now some cool cases

and now, a very special event: groove machine T.M. STEVENS in concert. the female singer on the left had a beautiful voice, and was quite a hottie, too

then, FRANK ITT entered the stage, jamming with t.m.
they played some cool funk there, and they even had an insane bass duett between the songs.
you can see frank itt on the left.

by the way:
t.m. stevens was no doubt playing a streamer 5-string with narrow string spacing. with a wild painting.

nothing says you cant sit on it while playing...

just came home and also have shot some pictures today.
will show them tomorrow ;)

Heyyyyyy,

thanks a lot for the pictures. :D That chunk of wood looks like a burl to me.......... 8)

thanks for the pics, these bass'es are wicked, that BO buzzard is to die for. none of these bass'es are on the CS gallery tho.

So,
Few pics I made (friends did alot more, so possibly there's an update here in some days from me.)

T.M. Stevens and Frank Itt. Also saw them. They were performing "Killing In The Name Of"

Zebrano Corvette. Stunning!

LTD 2008!

What a wall! Seth later on performed on the 8-string

I love blue quilted maple

This grain is great!

WOW!

But my personal highlight

SETH HORAN!
This show was so insane.

But it even got better when...

... this skandinavian guitarplayer (sorry, forgot his name) came on stage.
They both were sooooooooooooo awsome. Never seen anything like that before!

Like promised - some really sweaty pictures from Seth :)

Great guitar!

And the Warwick-Babes ("Okay, I'll buy the mini-thump, but then i want a picture with you!" - what really was no problem. This girls are more like gogo-girls and I think there were more people making pictures of them, then of basses and guitars ! :) )
There's some more pictures, (and will be a lot more in near future)

But they are mostly of private nature (my band documenting the voyage to Frankfurt :D )

Seems I missed it :(
Got some new pics into the gallery - but they are nothing special.
Waiting for my lead-guitarplayer, he's got a lot of other stuff.

indeed, it's bolt on, but broad neck !!

you know those fairy-tales about giants, who use trees as toothpicks ?
now, after cleaning their teeth, they would play such a streamer i think.

looks like a LX from where I'm standing...

Yeah, after a closer inspection, I can see that is the case. Just something about the maple top that fooled me. Awesome none the less!

Here are a few pics I found on another forum:
