About 2 years ago i purchased my 2nd warwick, a 95 fortress 1. i'm looking to swap out the pickups that are in it right now. they're seymour duncans. I've never seen nor heard of the ones that are currently in my bass and i had a hard time finding out anything about them online when i tried to research them. they look like the MECs that you normally find in a warwick, but they have three dipswitches in each pickup. i'm looking to put new MEC actives in it, however, i'm trying to figure out what i'm looking at with the electronics. at first, i thought whoever owned the bass first swapped out the pickups and electronics for the duncans. now i'm not so sure. the electronics in the bass are MEC and appear to be what's in the specs warwick has posted on the homepage minus the volume pot. the two questions i have are, has anyone ever heard/seen of these pickups, and is my volume pot, if original, supposed to have a push-pull?

when i get a moment, i'm going to post pictures of the pickups and electronics if it helps

i think they're an old model of seymour duncan active pickups...

...but i'm really scouring my memory, so don't quote me !

they are actives, and they sit on the MEC electronics. the pots appear to all be original, except the volume pot seems new. does anyone know if warwick installed these in any of their stuff?

they don't make those duncans anymore i thought it was cool that you could change the sound of the pups right on the pup.

Hi man, and welcome to the forum. For 95, your volume pot should be orriginally push - pull

ok, so that basically explains it all then. these are aftermarket pickups. now to get an MEC volume pot and pickups. thanks for helping me out! i appreciate the help
