Fortress NT... Does it Exist?

This just popped into my head, because I remember reading about the now retired bass on the website and looking at the custom shop, and yet to see one of these.

I'm curious if one so exists or ever existed.
 
afaik, the custom shop doesn't do a bass that's only produced as bolt-on in a neck-thru style.
 
I´ve never heard about that. I was about to say that maybe you can order a CS Fortress NT, but then I read Happyface´s post, so now I´m not sure if that is posible.
 
It would be cool if they did, but no, I don't think a Fortress NT existed or will exist. I always thought it'd be a lot of fun to have a Fortress 6 string...
 
Maybe one day, if some big bass player wants in as their Signature Bass.
 
Its not possible unfortunately, the fortress is actually my favourite Warwick shape .... i would love it if they would do a NT =D
 
Yeah my dream Warwick is actually a NT fortress made with a zebrano body, but alas I don't have enough cash to convince mr Wilfer to make me one.

Not sure how well it would balance as a NT as well, cause of the extended upper horn.
 
No, we don't have a NT fortress :-)

However, a couple of years before I asked HP about one, hihi.

Not at all.
Custom shop doesnt automatically mean that anything can & will be done.
Warwick's custom shop options list is incredibly long.You have something like 50+ options on wood alone.There's lots of other brands that make custom shop instruments that only offer a fraction of what Warwick offers.Not everyone is as flexible as Alembic ;)
