funny you mentioned that, coz my girlfriend is trying to talk me into doing that to the lycan. we were lookin at a picture of Mary O'Brien's 'glitterball' schecter and she said that would look good.

I personally don't like the disco ball effect. Unless you have a wapping great afro, flairs, hairy chest, big medallion and can dance...I don't think so.

Stick to the lycan idea.

Totally agree, the mirror ball effect is hideous. Prolly weighs a ton, and I doubt it makes the guit sound any better. The ONLY mirror effect I liked was Paul Stanley's Iceman.

It's definitely a Firebird. I think there's been a significant amount of photoshopping going on.

yeah, the pickups are standard vintage humbuckers and the bridge is the classic gibson-style hardtail

Well, she's bending that A-string pretty far, so strings could be bunched up on the fretboard...

Could be that mate. Point is I think we both agree it's a Firebird not a Thunderbird. If that was a bass it's have one helluva crappy neck to play on. Be like the old Hofner Violin basses. Worst playing bass I ever got my hands on.

Yeah I know, but on the actual face of the headstock there seems to be six string pegs
