FNA Question

All this FNA talk lately has me curious about mine. It's a '98 and I know it has an SD pre but who made my pickup and how can I tell? There's no markings on the face indicating MEC or Seymour. Bass plays great so it's not like either way is going to break my heart, just curious.

Nice color on the body. I have a 98 FNA also, and the original pickup had no markings on it that I could find. I emailed Warwick with the bass SN and they confirmed the pickup was MEC and the pre was Seymour Duncan. Which looks exactly like what you have in your pictures. I swapped for a Bart dual coil and I like it better than the MEC. Be aware that if you do change the pickup the screw hole pattern is not standard. I also always thought it was strange that the string spacing never lined up with the MEC pickup poles...

ihave same bass and was told that the pickup its a seymor duncan the same as the on board preamp nice bass by the way !!
