Hi all,

Just thought I'd join in the Warwick fun seeing as I've just ordered a Flamin Blonde - woohoo....can't wait!

Ever since I started playing I spotted an ad for Warwick and thought 'Wow, love the curved body thing - really want one of those'. Sadly I then found out how much they were and whilst my folks were generous - they weren't THAT generous! LOL

So 20 years later, I've taken the plunge and bought one. I think the Flamin blonde looks awesome and should sound fantastic. I tried a Streamer with the same pup config and loved the sound (despite it having old strings).

Anyway, just saying 'Hi' (in a fairly long winded way) and jumping around... 'I'm getting a Warwick....I'm getting a Warwick' :D

Welcome to the forum.... and to "the sound of wood"! Congrats on the Flamin Blonde!

Hey hey - thanks for the welcome :D

I'll post a review as soon as I get my mitts on it - I do a fair bit of home recording so I'll try and record some clips.

I have to say I'm sooooo excited about getting it - I've had my trusty Yamaha RBX800 (modded) for 15 years and feel bad about hanging it up...but it's somewhat pointy and 80's looking.

Heck even my wife was touching up all the Warwicks in the shop saying how nice they felt!

Thanks again for making me feel so welcome.
