After some 60 days over which I've got to be very intimate with my AKG headphones, the WCA115 is finally here. Looks like the carpet cover was washed and softened by the virgin priestesses of Trupindakambara, so that's why it took so long. In the next days I might be absent or incoherent, but it is just because my main concern is gonna be to ROCK THE HELL OUT OF THIS BUILDING! I'LL BRING THE HOUSE DOWN, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Nice!

Would love to hear your thoughts on this baby!

I've been pondering picking one of these babies up for some time.

;)

I have been looking into getting a ProFet 3.2 Head. My old peavey Mark IV is well, OLD! It's not cutting it anymore. It still rocks but just not as hard. That's a sweet looking setup you got there man. Have fun.

My impressions ultil now:
Finally found the right EQ.
many criticized me for getting the 115 instead of the 410, saying that I would only get mud from it ("d'ya play raggae?" asked me the seller). The fact is: the sound I'm getting isn't muddy at all, The V8 is roaring as never, and, when it fails to cut, I just use the MAGICBUTTON (the mids, on the thumb). I'm very impressed with this cab. You can't really feel it in the store.
Up to now, the combination (RH450 + WCA 115) suits me. Maybe in the near future I'll be getting a 210 (in the store the 115 sounded really nice combined with a Hartke 210, and they didn't have the WCA 211).
Tried to get a clip, but recording from a cab is much more difficult than direct, so, maybe I'll keep trying.
Last saturday I've put the rig through a really heavy test (although I used my friend's 411, not the 115): faced an Orange 200W tube head with a 412 cab. My set did very good (with a little help from my MAGCIBUTTON friend). We played VERYLOUD. Yuri ruined 2 sets of drumsticks. Definitelly aproved, tonewise and loudwise.
