Finally got it! (SS2 content)

Won this on ebay last week at a good price! $1560 US. Drove out to NYC today and picked her up. It's a '97 SS2 and it's in great condition except for faded gold hardware. On top of that, I stopped at GC on the way home and got a 5 string set of DR low-Riders at the 4 string price because they were in the wrong rack. I've been waiting for three years for one of these to come my way and I'm feeling so good about it all that I had to share. Best part is that I"ve still got my Thumb too. I only spent an hour and a half cleaning and re-stringing because I couldn't wait to play. It's 2:30 am and my neighbor is pissed! We all know what SS2s look like but I couldn't help it.
 
Thats a solid looking SSII. I really have some GAS for a four string version. I think the faded hardware gives it character. It looks like its been broke in a little. Oh and holy crap on that price. Thats practically robbery for a SSII. Great find!

now that looks great and we all know how it sounds who played stage II:) and it seems to be a good us-price, congrats!
 
Thanks Guys. I'm in the process of moving and will be off line for a few days. Who needs cable when you have a Streamer anyway? See you all when the cable guy sees me!

Hi all, I'm back. A few days with no indoor activity except playing my SS2! Thanks for being happy for me. This SS2 is better than I'd hoped or remembered from a brief encounter with a 2002 model. I am sure I like this neck better. Here it is.......Growly bastard!
 
BTW, the white lines are probably from me not getting all the wax rubbed in....or out properly. :) Couldn't wait to play!
