That looks a good price for a SSII in The States. I think the way that the tops are laid over the SSII and the Thumb lend themselves to nice figuring... saying that I am biased :lol:

Someone replaced te nut with a JAN-II.
Black hardware on a Stage 2 is odd too, but the bass still looks great!

Good price, i payed slightly more for my '98

Also, the control cavity cover was switched out for the newer snap on version - you can see the screw holes around it where the old one used to be. Also the original pickups have been changed to Basslines.

I bet the owner replaced the original gold hardware with the black considering these and the other previously mentioned changes visible on it like the nut, truss rod cover, etc.

Definitely beautiful figuring in the wood though :!: I bet it still sounds great.
