Feedback wanted on my bass tone

Hey blokes! I just wanted to share 2 songs I recorded using my friends' FNA Jazzman 5!
I'm primarily a guitar-player, but I just love the feel/tone of this thing (its much better than my crappy Ibanez GSR200, yuck!).
Anyway, for the reason mentioned above, I want some actual bassist input on the tone, tear it apart people!

I can't give you a detailed tone analysis... this music really isn't my genre but it really seems to fit. Sounds clean and tight and cuts nicely. I like it.

I listened only on my laptop's speakers, and the bass cuts through nicely which is a good thing!

Cutting through like a champ! Loved the tone, but somehow sound great with the band and a little sterile when left alone. Any nice pictures of the bass being used? :roll:

I like the way your bass sounds and the songs in general - Everyone has their preference in sound and what they feel connected to - Also makes a difference in what your playback device is - I ditched my oversized and ancient tower speakers recently and got some Energy CB-20 bookshelf - Incredible difference once you tweek the receiver settings
