I sold something to Herbie this week.
Something that he has been looking for a looooong time!
We took the time to get everything set up for this transaction as it was a biggie and I do not like to rush things.

Along the way Herbie asked me a number of times if I was really sure about letting go of this particular bass which is rare and pretty unique. What an incredible nice and sensitive guy!

The package which I packed reluctantly (this fool always feels sad when parting with an instrument) is now on its way to Switzerland.

A special bass for a special player who loves and respects his instruments. Enjoy it Herbz!

Also, now that you have such a gem, you can sell to me the Raid Phump? ;)
 
I sold a Fortress 8 bass to Herb. It was as smooth a transaction as could be. The communication was prompt and friendly and the payment arrived quickly with all the shipping details. We had a bit of a detour as I wasn't aware that shipping from EU to Switzerland required additional export documents (in this case an invoice). The courier I used (DPD) did not inform me of this when I booked the shipment in one of their collection points. When tracking the status, I found out that the shipment was stuck in France due to this formality. Luckily, I mailed a private invoice and that was enough to release the shipment. It reached safely, the story ended well and all was well!
It was a pleasure dealing with Herb. He is highly recommended and trustworthy forum member.
 
Herbie - managed to retrieve a vintage streamer fl for me from Zürich.
He asked me to pay when the bass had arrived safely at my place.
Everything went smooth as smooth can be.

Herbert is a great buyer. He transferred the money to me on my Dolphin sale before he knew that I had already posted the bass :) A pleasure to deal with in PM.
 
Herbie is indeed a great buyer. To be honest, great isn't fitting enough. More than that.

He included a brand new Rockcase (I was free to set the price for it) and included the shipping costs into the price.

He told me I could wait until the bass has arrived to send him the money (!). :o

It arrived in perfect shape, even though I was puzzled by the reverse truss rod haha.

It plays so well for a 1991 bass! Just as good (if not better) as my 2009 Thumb.

Le zooper recommended.
