OK, I promised I would do it, so here it is :

It's crap, but I am so stressed when recording in front of a camera that it's probably the best I can do. I've made almost 20 tries before this very one.

Anyway :

Great job! I think you did well. I know the feeling of being a little shy or jumpy in front of the camera. I do sometimes 1 to 3 takes and pick the best one.

On some songs 1-3 isn't enough 13 is more like it :lol: !

About the camera anxiety, you should think when you do a take, that you are not OBLIGED to put that one online. If you screw up you can do it again. It's not a live performance. :)
 
I know the issue with it being awkward when on camera...though you played well, don't worry :)

btw... I have da same problemz when I try to record a vid... I try to solve that by just letting da camera roll, start playing da tune (over and over) so after a while I forget about da camera and then pick da best version afterwardz...;)
imho da routine of stoppin da camera, da rewinding and da starting of da camera again is da main reason for irritation, nervousness and angerzzz...

When I recorded Deadland, I did 62 takes of Fly to the empty, before I nailed it. That's the way it is. BTW, very nice playing!

Great job, Paul! Camera anxiety is what keeps me from uploading stuff all the time. When I finally do get the spare time to record something, I end up failing more miserably than a 6 year old on a college entrance exam. It's funny how playing in front of an audience is not a problem but once that shutter starts running I get all shaky and pee my pants. :d

I'm going to try Rob's advice and just let the thing roll until I'm distracted enough to actually function.
