Extra cab to Sweet 25.1?

I'm not sure mate.It's 250 watts at 4 ohms,so adding another 8 ohm cab will reduce the impedance down to 2 ohms,which will damage the amp.Is your amp not giving you enough power?
 
I'm not very satisfied with its power so I have to do something to increase it.
Any idea?
 
If the 250 watts in the Sweet 25.1 arent meeting your needs I suggest buying an X-Treme 5.1 or Tubepath 5.1 (both 500 watts) & some cab(s).
Alternatively,for gigs,use the line out in your combo & run direct to the PA.

Can you tell us about your setup?

How do you set the Gain? Where are you running the master volume? What are your EQ settings? Are you using it just as a stage monitor at gigs with PA support, or does it carry the whole venue?

It will be actually 2,66 ohms. You have 4 ohms the combo's speaker, and 8 ohms the extra cab. To make it easier, consider the 4 ohms speaker as 2X 8 ohms in parallel. So you have 3X 8 ohms, and now it is easier, 8:3 = 2,66

250 W is loud but not that loud. It is loud enough for rehearsals and small venues. Now... if you boost the lows and cut the mids it will be not loud at all.
Try to boost some low mids and high mids. If is still not loud enough for you, it means you need more power :-)
