Euro 2016 - Footie

So, like I said......
 
Germany had the team and more chances, France had the referee and the luck.

Now, it's the non-winning, no-scoring Portugal against something-something France. The outlook of something entertaining is between "meh" and "penalty shoot-out".
 
Well, well... they migthy Germany is out and we´ll have a rice with fish vs. baguette match for the final.

Just like in WW2. Except at the time the referee was American :-)

I agree, the penalty was quite unclear. But for the rest... For a good part of the first period, French just watched the german play football... Alas, no goal, and I guess the penalty wore the german fighting spirit.

I'm pretty sure we'll crush Portugal, though. :-)
 
This time ze Gerrrmans missed any danger. Good ball possession, but the round one must get into the square one.

Not that bad to leave against the home team. But PLEASE stop to steal the Island victory cry! That´s shameful.
 
I saw it as a tribute to Iceland. I do hope they're not doing it again, though, that would be embarrassing.

Not the Iceland boys. There is quite a shit storm about this. On Sunday you will get another chance to do better! ;)
 
Ronaldo crying on the field when he got injured was also my face watching all these shitty games with shit teams this entire tournament.
 
it felt very good to win against a france that lacked sportmanship (at least in the newspapers) and aimed to take down our best player(even if he was not at top shape).
 
Well, there was no yellow or red tape on these actions. And, as I watched the game, I would not dare to say that France lacked Sportmanship when Eder touched the ball with his hand, and fooled the referee in obtaining a free kick... And a yellow tab for France that was unjustified.
So with 6 yellow tabs, not sure that the portuguese team was full of sportmanship.

And, to be honest, seeing Ronaldo at the end of the game sending an injured Guerreiro although was a bit unnerving.

Anyway, now the football fever is over, we can get back to real issues that we had before the... hum. seems the French government passed the law everybody was against during the Euro, and no one cared.
Damn french people.
 
on the sportmanship we'll have to "agree to disagree"... at the end of the day i'm happy with the victory but i would trade that with a social and economic improvements. neither france nor portugal are ok these days and thats the most important thing.
 
You're right, every country needs this kind of fresh air :-)
