EQ on 1989 Stage-I

What kind of EQ does my baby have and what does what button actually do?

The way I figure it:
Closest to the strings: Volume and push/pull active/passive

Closest to lower horn: Pick-up blend

The other two: Bass boost/cut and Treble boost/cut

Right? :?
 
So it is a 2 band EQ then? Or a 3 band?

I'd like to swap it for a Aguilar OBP but I don't know which :lol:
 
2 band. I have the same preamp on my Streamette. I'm in the process of swapping out a 2 band MEC for a 3 band Bart on an old Fortress One at the moment - should be done in a week or so. I'll let you know how it works out if you're interested. ~M~
 
No worries! I have to work all weekend on night shift but we have a really good soldering station there so I'm taking the bass with me. If I get a few minutes here and there, I might have it done by the end of the weekend. I'll keep ya posted! ~M~
