hi.

did someone try those strings ?
i'm really curious to read a review or some opinions about them.

they seem to be quite nice...

well, i only hear a nice sounding bass, that's all. but i have nothing to compare to.
i mean, anything could sound just as nice, you know ?

greatest strings ever. Period.
why ?
what's so good about them ?
what's different ?

i like warwick red label strings a lot.
they are bright, stay bright for quite a while, and last for nearly a year, withough getting dull.

you think i would still like the DR JH strings ?

I thought DR JH strings are not supposed to be bright...........

They were dynamically perfect

Their tone was even

They were great bass strings, you should definitely try them

I've had them on my thumb for about 6 months now. I don't like the sound of new strings, nor do I care for stainless steel strings. If you like either of those things, then they aren't for you.

BUT, for informational purposes, they feel different than any string I've used due to the wrap. I think this also contributes to the strings not going "dull" like many others, but instead reaching a point of subtle crispness that has lasted months now. They have pretty low tension as well.

They are plenty bright- they are perfectly balanced, and produce the most pure, natural and clear tone I have ever experienced. If you want your bass to sound like your bass, than get them. If you want your bass to sound really pre-amp heavy and full of overtones, than dont. I like them because they almost make my bass sound acoustic, and no matter where I play the bass or how I have dynamic and sonic clarity- the sound of my bass, the essence and spirit of her shines through always. I mean, overall, they are just great f***ing strings.

so, if i like red label strings, would i like the tone of the jonas hellborg strings ?

I just slap a B string from the sunbeams set on there- works quite alright.

Who gives a ♣♣♣♣? They're Jonas Hellborg, Hellman, Hellman's Mayonaise, strings. Who the hell is this guy anyway?

Oh he's nobody really.Just one of Warwick's biggest endorsers, with his own signature bass & amp system & one of the world's most unique bass pioneers with his own label & played with some of the biggest names in the biz.
What's with all the hate Doog?Bad day at the office?
