DR Hi Beams

So i asked nick from one step closer (www.myspace.com/oscrockband) what kind of strings he uses. he said he uses DR Hi Beams.
what's the difference between those, the Lo Riders, and the coated strings (black beauties).

hi beams are stainless, the low riders are nickel and have a hex core. dr is funny company b/c they offer so many string variation on each model name that it seems that they all most over lap. :wink:

yeah, i use black beauties... but they were out of them last time, so right now i have it strung with red devils.
