Dolphin on the Bay

Just thought some people might be interested in a 2002 Dolphin up for sale on Ebay. Looks pretty sweet, not sure if that's a good "buy it now" price or not, flightcase included? He says he does not know what wood the body is...anyone have any ideas?

Nice find Hoggles.
Stock Dolphin SN's have afzelia bodies,& this looks no different.
Afzelia can be light coloured when new,& ages to a nice chocolatey/coffee colour over time.

Oh cool, just curious. Don't think I've heard of a semi-hollow body Dolphin before...interesting :wink: I'm a little scared of the trashy futon and porch she is resting on in those pics...scary :lol:

The TCS adds to the lows & the basses overall resonance,while reducing a little of it's weight.It's a series of narrow channels drilled along the length of the body,between the top & back.This feature is standard on all Dolphin SN's.

I've never bought from that particular seller before but I've seen a few of their Warwick sales before and they appear to be a pretty solid dealer.

that seller is a good guy. I got a bass from him last year. I did have the good fortune of being able to pick it up from him, but he only deals in nice basses (Warwick, Modulus) and good gear.

Absolutely, I got my Dolphin SN 5 last year from this guy, he's solid as a rock. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

i agree... both my vampyre SN and Darklord came from him (paul booth).

very good guy... and wouldnt leave you in cases of damage claims and stuff. also never fails to update you about anything and everything - as far as your transaction is concerned.
