Oh man, when I was about 30 feet away from this in my local Sam Ash, I was starting to get excited that I would be able to try out a Dolphin FINALLY!

Well, as I got closer, I started to notice it wasn't in the normal Warwick section... then I found out why...

Says made by Carvin, but I don't buy that either... Looked and felt cheap but the headstock and body were so close that they had me going from about 20 ft away...

Anyone else see these?

Pshaw, it doesn't have the insane fret access, let alone the extra frets. :( I'd be curious as to how it sounds, though.

If that aint copyright infringement I don't know what is. The body shape is way closer to a Pro1 or SN than a Pro 2. At casual glance that looks just like a Dolphin, and I own a Dolphin.

thats the kind of thing you see on ebay and hit bid before looking close enough lol :?

i see it comin' already.... after so much of fender and music man knock/rip...-off that was only a question of time when they will copy some warwick and other famous brands shapes!
but common guys for that price... it's maybe a good instrument to learn on it and givin' you some gas for a real warwick!

it sounded like crap, but it could have been abused by it's previous owner...

I like that headstock: where the "W" would go, it's a dolphin instead, so you don't know who really made it. It's definitely not a Warwick neck placed on a dolphin shaped body! To think that someone took the time to do dolphin inlays for such a cheap knock-off though...

Paint it gloss white and I'm there! Nah, I'm playing genuine Warwicks only!

I do however wish that Warwick would release a gloss white Dolphin into the RockBass lineup, and even consider doing the dolphin inlays on it... Hint, hint,

It's a Dean hammer bass but something looks familiar here. I just can't put my "FINGER" on it...

Rule of Thumb: Don't ever try to copy it. Nothing beats the original.

Another rule of "Thumb": Give the Deam Hammer the "finger"!

Or better yet, shove it up somewhere the sun won't shine!
