Could someone please tell me how to get to Warwick HQ in NYC from Grand Central Station? I was thinking about going there from Hartford, CT's train station to Grand Central. What would the cab fare cost from the station to Warwick HQ? Do they do setups at the HQ and if so what do they cost? What are the hours of operation? Are we allowed to bring a Thumb and plug it into an amp. I would really appreciate your help and advice. Thanks in advance for your information. :) :d

I remember Tyler saying you can take your bass along & that he can do setups & repairs.

For directions try one of the online map thingies that give directions.
Have a good time mate.

Tyler's help at NYC The Warwick Custom Shop

Hey Greg,

I'm glad I took your advice about talking to Tyler. What a great guy! He gave me a lot of information on getting to the Warwick HQ etc. I'm not sure when I will get down there but, I'm sure I'll have a nice time drooling over those basses when I do. I wanted to bring my Thumb down to check out a few of the amps in the showroom and get a setup as well.

Cheers,

Ron :d

That's great Ronald.I pretty much knew Tyler would help you out coz he's said here before that any of us are welcome to drop into the store, bring our bass(es)along for a setup/repairs or just to try out some of their amps.I hear the cafe next door sells some amazingly great coffees too;)

:idea:Maybe we should organise a forum group tour of all the great US bass shops. We could get group discounts on all our travel & accomodation expenses too.:d
We could all meet up in NYC & start with the Warwick CS showroom on day one. Then travel across the country stopping into all the great bass shops, like Bass Northwest,Bass Exchange,Bass Central etc etc.
Along the way,as we pass through different cities, the forum members that live locally could host a bass get together.Ok,maybe that's taking it a bit too far.

Greg that sounds an awesome idea. Could also check out some gigs as we pass through places etc. If there was enough interest for this i'd definately be up for it :)
