Dings, dents, soldering irons etc.

Hi guys,

My recently acquired SS1 has a couple of dings I'd like to have a go at removing. I've read through various posts about how to use damp cloths and soldering irons but I'm still a little worried about doing it.

Has anyone got any photos of them tackling this problem? I.e. before, during and after.

I've read the opinions about dings and whether to keep them, I like to take care of all my guitars and I'd like the dings in my SS1 to be mine, not the previous owners!

Ok, ok - I'll answer my own question. :wink:

I also emailed the luthier who published the site who is a very knowledgable chap indeed. He seemed pretty cool, and recommended the steaming technique. He certainly has given me more confidence in tackling the dents on my Warwick, although maybe not just yet... :wink:
