double buck?

Has someone sanded the original blackoil finish away and waxed it? I like it:)
 
i really don't know how he did that.
but i would like to know how one can enhance the grain using black dye.

what does absorb more color/oil: the darker or the brighter parts of the grain ??
 
i think that's what is called a ceruse finish, same thing sandberg call "zebra finish" :wink:
 
Mmm, it's a nice coffee colour. On that note, I'm gonna go make myself a cuppa. :D

Kinda, but Tigerwood is more orange/redish, kinda like afzelia, and the grain isn't as pronounced (usually)
