I just try to look up the serial of 2 streamettes with the serial tool
and look what it says:-)

Seriennr.:C-082722-01

Given the fact that the Vampyre was not in production then - there is a way to find out how many streamettes where made:-)

obviously when introducing the a code for the vampyre they overlooked that they
used this code for the streamette already

I remember some old threads noting that the serial numbers for Streamettes said they were Vampyres. But you're right - you can turn this knowledge around!

But that would require some crazy person to go looking through all the different serial numbers to see which ones are Vampyres!! Who would be mad enough to do that?? :roll:

In 2001? Nope. The Corvette $$ (BO) came out in 2004 and the Corvette $$ NT in 2006...

Yeah, I came across quite a few where the month didn't match the letter - in both directions.

So what do we reckon about those $$NT - were they early prototypes or were they like the Vampyre/Streamette: some other curious bass whose code was later re-used for the real $$NT? I only came across 3 of them, which makes me think they were some prototype.

Infinettes were produced in 1991.

Just tried my Infinette serial number and it came out as:

"Unfortunately your serial number is not registered in our system."
