It's in the catalog. Wick makes their own EUB.

Looks cool, but costs more than an NSD, which
is the standard bearer of the genre.

I just didn't recognize the name with the "e" in it. Pardon my ignorance.
 
Ahhh sorry guys. I suppose I don't know as much as I thought about these basses. I feel like an idiot haha.

Nothing to pardon, You were reading ambiguous text.

"E" is not part of the model name.
There is no "Triumph E".

"E" is part of the genre name.
The Triumph bass is being called an "E-Upright"

It's all about where the pause fit in the phrasing.

"The Triumph E-Upright" ..... means:
"The [Wick] Triumph [which happens to be an] E-Upright".

.... but the way it looks on the page,
it IS all too easy to read it as meaning:
"The Triumph-E [model name of an] upright.


I spoze it would be rescued from ambiguity if it were:
"The Triumph EUB" [EUB instead of E-Upright].

Frankly, I never ever heard of an "E-Upright", altho I've
shopped extensively for EUBs. Sukkee term if U ask I.

strangely enough i was looking at possibly saving for a warwick triumph, they aint as xpensive as i thought they would be, found them new for £1500, which i didn't think was too bad. But having said that, a new set of strings for the thing seems to be about £100 :?
 
No they are pretty "cheap". I got mine for the same price as my Streamer Stage 2.

6400 CAN retail back in 07. I paid 53 for mine.
