Diablo Supreme X Capacitor Change Not likeing the brightness of the middle/bridge

I have a Framus Diablo Supreme X (2009 i think). Im not likeing the brightness of the middle/bridge pickup for the type of music im playing, dont get me wrong it sounds great but way to bright. To the point where when im at rehearsal if i forget to turn the tone down switching from the cool rails to the bridge ears start to bleed. On the tone/spliter pot there is a very small capacitor would swapping this out help at all if so what are your recommendations if not what would you advise (Any pedal ideas to would help....EQ/compression?)

(Quick edit) Going to try and lower the hight of the pick up and see if that works but still open for many more suggestion

UPDATE

So i did some research and found that lowering my pickup hight did help to reduce some brightness but now i am also going to test some new capacitors out.

Once they arrive i will upload a video on youtube of the caps in action with the tone nob at different intervals.
Im very interested in how the dry Tantalum caps are going to sound.
