Looks to me to be exactly the type of ax the Ox would play.
It has exotic woods.....oh wait.
It has Alembic pups.....oh wait, none of that either....
Stereo outputs...cant see them.......
Graphite neck?.....nope

There were some nice Deans. I used to own one. A 5 string NT. It was made in the Czech Republic at the same factory that made/makes the Euro Spector line. Great deal if you find one used.
 
the look of it ias based on some of JE'S Alembics, they had the same shape and the spider web things (in gold mind you) but with single point alembic headstock. check out JEs book for some great pics of these. the deans seems to lack some of the magic.

The owner of Dean was Dean B. Zealinsky, he sold his company and started a new one DBZ Guitars.... And no, they don't turn you into a Super Saiyan or give you the power of the Kamehameha wave...

In truth, the DBZ brand makes very exotic looking guitars, I saw one that looked like the body was made of dragon scales or snake skin.

The bass in the photo shot is a beautiful "strange" bass. The Dean one is a piece of ****!! :)
I don't like at all basses with this "goth" design...webs, spiders, blood....WHY?!?!
 
We can't forget Dean has a reputation to maintain as the official abuser of dead artists :d

I dunno... Alex Webster has a new Spector signature model painted black with blood splattered on it... Honestly, that fits his band, but they do make ones with out the blood splatter... just all black... with red spector block inlays.
 
And Alex uses that second one! :D
I think that some estetics are very awful, even for an Extreme Music situation...

But this is my humble opinion!
