I've been trying to get hold of DB Goods about purchasing strings, but haven't heard anything back. Earlier emails about replacement parts have also gone unanswered. Are they on vacation or something? Since I posted the question at the US Warwick site I know that I got their address right.

(I know that I can buy Warwick strings at MF or GC, but I need to know about a string set that isn't available in the US.)

I think something might be amiss, they're normally very prompt in replying.Maybe give them a call on the phone.

The NAMM show is next weekend... HUGE show, lots of details to wrangle.
keep trying, be patient, and they'll love you back for it~ I promise.
You could not be more blessed in having to deal with them as the US distributors. They are the absolute salt of the earth. I'll agree that a call right now will be best, but.... again it IS hellish for a few weeks before the show, so they may be kinda frazzled and quick if you do happen to talk to them. Just file that away and know that they are NOT trying to ignore, or flake on your inquiries.

Good Luck with the strings!

Thanks guys! I'll give 'em a call. THe NAMM show must be incredibly time consuming. Given how responsive the Warwick reps are on this forum, it seemed unlikely that they were ignoring me or flaking out.

I've had problems emailing them with my gmail account - 3 messages and no response. mail.com was fine - response within a day, so they may have a spam filter. that's my best guess anyway.

NAMM rules the lives of music industry folk from the second the New Year's hangover wears off until Groundhog Day. Please don't take it personally; they're the greatest guys ever, and they're not ignoring you. I'd swear it! :)

Sethbass, Naelog,

Thank you for your replies. I seemed unlikely that I was being ignored; but was more concerned that I was emailing a discontinued address. The NAMM show explains a lot, however. Good luck at the NAMM show.

Cheers
