I'm just curious how old this tin of wax I have is:



It appears to be very old.

i guess this comes from the 80's. it comes from pretzfeld so it's surely not after 1995!

It has the old Postcode system, suggesting its pre 1988/89

I bught a new bass in 95, and the wax was in the orange box. So it is older

This can of wax came with my pre-loved 1988 SSII. I am unsure if this is the original can of wax that came with this bass but it was produced in West Germany as well.

Unfortunately, the wax inside the tin has gone hard and crumbly, and even after melting the wax I was unable to get the desired result from this can of wax.

Nice! Mine was packaged with an old 87 streamer, and I was never sure if it was original or not. Until now!
