There is a smaller version of this without the 4 band EQ. That's if you want just the Drive part without the hassle of the preamp. I think if you bought the B3K (the little one) you'd be pleased.

I believe the B3K is $295 USD, wheres the B7K is $459 USD. I think either one would work great for just overdrive, more so the B3K than the B7K, because of the preamp.

I'd love to have the B3K to use just as a drive to blend in with the B7K... Because I'm in love with the Classic Warm Tube Setting. I haven't seen a Flip Top like setting on this, but I am looking to discover it. :d

It's a very cool pedal, and I might be starting a flame war, but I'd say this thing is like a Hellborg in a stombox. Well, in clean mode, I mean. It's very versitle and it doesn't add any coloration to your tone. The only coloration you really get is from how much blend you are using with the drive, but thats is.

My VT Deluxe adds alot of coloration to simulate classic ampeg or artist tone. There's nothing clean about it. I like them both, and I'd to use both in separate heads for ultimate tone use in gigs.
