Hi guys i am still frantically searching for info on the various streamers warwick produce. I have found one for a reasonable price here in australia. This is the CS streamer stage II #139

Warwick Basses Amps & Rock'n Roll

Ok i got some questions:
* would this bass have the same neck dimensions as the normal streamer II?
*would the extra pickup make a huge amount of difference to sound?
*is it valued the same as the normal streamer stage II (at the time of manufacture)?

thanks guys any help would be appreciated
:d

Hi Darryn,

It will have the old - fat neck dimensions.
I guess the extra pickup will add some extra sounds to the palette, but you can set it as single coil, so you'll have a standard SSII as well.
It is valued as * : 3.760 EUR, that's more than standard :-) It is a CS after all, right?

ha ha thanks guys i 'm pretty close to buying it...just two more question...what is the old fat neck dimensions and how much different to a standard's neck will this one be?

Ok guys just did a little research and i found that warwick make all basses c shaped neck now whereas the fatneck or u shaped neck has to be requested. Did the fat neck/u shape use to be the standard warwick neck shape(as in on a thumb bo for example)?

Thanks evolvebass! Does that mean any pre 2009 streamer stage ii had the same neck as the cs streamer ii?

Yes, as long as it was not specified otherwise (that would have been a Custom Shop option) all streamer stage II's (and in fact most warwicks) from before 2009 at least back to 1999 had the fat neck (U shape) as standard.

Hey Lex ..from what i gather(as i don't frequent the oz bass forum often) sandy sold it to james(grumpydog) early/mid last year and then ive bought it from the latter. Cheers buddy can't wait to join the streamer club too!

So exchanging of funds via paypal tomorrow and looks like the bass could be in my hands early next wk...Starting to grow impatient but the wait will be worth it!!
