CS body options

Can you get two different body woods with a different top wood?
ex. swamp ash back, bubinga middle, maple cap? And I don't mean for the bubinga to be a veneer... like... the two body woods would be a little more than 1/3 of the thickness each.

Yes,

there is already a CS Corvette with a three piece body (#055). The 2008 Limited has also got a three piece body. 8)

my main concern is the concavity of the body on a SSI. Will it still work?

I think these are Thumb bodies. I'm not sure if it's ever done on a Streamer (three piece body), but I think it is theoretically possible: if you cut the body parts in an angle, there's just about enough space I'd say. Maybe you can pm Gregory for the correct answer. Cheers.

Those can't all be a Thumb bass, there's distinctly two different body sizes there... Maybe some are Streamers?

They could be all the same model,but in different string configurations.The larger bodies are probably 6 stringers. :wink:
