Just having a whinge here. Every single time i get a new musical toy (essential piece of equipment sorry) i have to travel for work and don't get to use it straight away. EVERY TIME:
1) bought my LX saturday, left on monday for 10 days
2) bought a fretless on sunday left monday
3)Got my interface on a monday, left wednesday
4)my MXR blowtorch is in the post office to pick up monday, leaving tuesday
that is just this year! and i've only had to go away 6 times so its not like i'm always away. Does the universe just hate me or is it just playing with all GAS sufferers?
 
Yes, it is the universe; Mr Murphy (the one from Murphy's law) made a very good study out of it, you should read it, if you not already did so..

Ow...yeah, that suxx Augie...try to look at it from da sunny side ... think about how kewl it actually iz that ya are able to buy (all) these toyz within a year...or wut I alwayz do to cure "da waiting on a new toy painz" is say to myself that I survived da first 45 yearz of my life without it, so who carez about waiting a little longer...:lol:

Thats not so bad, when I got an EBS ValveDrive as a gift, the power supply wasn't what I needed and I had to wait to get the right one, and then it didn't even work! still waiting for a new one from the local dealer.

Anyways, those things can be very frustrating but at least you have some new toys!
 
lol yeah its always the way isn't it. I remember when i got my warwick cab, I had to sit and stare at it for a month b4 i could afford a head!!
