Thank you Jeff. Another question. What is a good way to clean the oil finish? After it's clean I want to apply Beeswax, is all beeswax the same or should I buy the Warwick beeswax? This is my first Warwick.
My 2001 Corvette Std Fretless has tuners with "West Germany" on them. I know that the wall came down in '89. Is that normal? I have seen recent "Germany" labeled tuners on every other Warwick I have looked at in the local shops.
Thanks for letting me know. I will think of them as if they are "of historical value". That is the term a Berliner friend of mine uses for anyone who has been fired or laid off or of anything that is just plain old. We worked together in California for many years and lot's of people were let go and he would always say "he is now of historical value". Then he would say "I wish you spoke German" English just isn't accurate enought to describe things. I'm going to look at buying another Corvette Std. (with frets) this weekend. Now I'm curious to see what is stamped on the tuners.
