Corvette $$ pots

Just bought a new rb corvette $$ and my tone pot turns nice and smooth, but the volume pots are super loose...I'm afraid if I even sneezed they'd spin around freely. Familiar to anyone else? I tried to pull the knobs off in order to maybe tighten them somewhere in there, but they wouldn't budge and I didnt want to hurt my new baby.

Hi Ed, is the pot spinning around? If yes, I fixed that a couple of time. Look at the back of the pot. Is it flat, or is it convex like a dome? If it is convex, then put a screwdriver or something there, and knock a little bit until you have the back flat. The pot will not spin around anymore.
