Hi Guys,
My wife brought me an IPad as bday present. I am a total newbie with this :)
Please recommend me some col tips, tricks, and cool apps.
Thank you :)3

Garage band is a must. I use Tapatalk to read this forum. Basstalk has its own app.

yo flo

your local tv-guide, newspaper has sure an app... then there is itranslate, wikipedia, dropbox, ebay, weather, ps-express, q-mix (the one i told you in the chat), facebitch, guitar toolkit, amplitube (iRig needed), cookbooks, ultimateguitar and the simple calculator which isn't installed.

i'm not into games but angry birds and cut the rope are cool for killing time when you're on the road...
just some to mention:)

have fun,
herbie

Thanks, I will check them :)
Btw, I am using tapatalk now...

Technical question

Is it possible to upload all my important data, music and porn, and to access them online with my ipad? How to do this? Is it possible to direct stream the content on my ipad?

with itunes from your computer you can synchronize your data to the ipad.

with dropbox you can upload / make it public from your computer or with the ipad. you can save item from everywhere to your dropbox and saved it then on your devices:)

An easier way is to just leave that stuff on your computer and use Subsonic. It's how I stream music to my phone, etc, from my home PC all the time. I haven't tried it with videos, but supposedly it works great with video as well. It works with pictures, too.

It's free. You can make a donation and get a permanent yourname.subsonic.org address that makes configuring easier.

Chris, that subsonic app looks like what I need :)

It's really awesome.

You have a program that runs on your computer, and an app for your iPad/iphone/android etc.

A bonus is that you can also get to your stuff via a web browser if you are on another computer, too :)

I use it to listen to music every day at work and at the gym.

Any forumer from mother Rusia? :D

BTW, now that Instagram has been bought by Facebook, it is the coolest of the Apps for iPad (and Android, too). ;)
