Thanks Alex I am dreaming of it for many years. Yesterday I just placed the order, without thinking too much! Everybody told me that putting this in the bass rig is like going fishing with the Rolls Royce, but Lucia and I decided that We deserve the treat! And I think it will kick ass! I remember when I tested it, It was the only compressor unit that actually improved the sound. I am not sure If I buy it for compression, or for the specific sound it has...

Why is there no threshold dial on it?

Yep. The input acts as a combination of threshold and ratio, with a switch to cycle ratio ranges.
