According to the Warwick Newsletter, I received today, this is a bass for Clayton! Would be nice to see his Epi Rivoli being replaced by this!!

Warwick Basses Amps & Rock'n Roll

BTW: I played a Reverso at the Messe: What a bass!

I'm not sure if it will replace the Epiphone Rivoli that is being used for "Get On Your Boots" or the Gibson Les Paul Signature bass (gold) that has been being used to play "Mysterious Ways".

Time will tell. And the tour is back on the road come June 3rd. I will be at a number of shows starting with the Anaheim show on June 6th. I will let you know what I see. ;)

Hoping to see him using the gold sparkle Streamer Stage II that he used in November at the Brandenburg Gate show. That was a great looking bass too!

As for the Reverso, I am the guitar tech for a U2 tribute called The Joshua Tree, located here in Southern California. Joshua Tree's bassist, Mr. Scott Jones (also a member here) bought and plays a Reverso. I can say that the Reverso is 100% pure quality through and through! Fantastic feel and sound. And it sounds fantastic through the Ashdown and Aguilar amps and cabs that Scott is running them through.

(Adam used Ashdown for the Elevation and Vertigo tours. He's using Aguilar on the U2:360 tour)

Cheers!

Soundwise the Star Bass is more like the Les Paul Signature (the 'real' Jack Casady Bass), indeed. Thanks!

It will be interesting to see how he uses the Star Bass II. I like that he's using more Warwick. And that this tour he seems to really be trying to get a good variety of gear and tones. Heaven knows that the Reverso, Streamer Stage II and Star Bass II are all great additions with great tone.

This bass is mind blowingly pretty in the flesh!

When we had it in the office for a few minutes before it went out to Adam it was hard to not be transfixed by it.

Incredible finish.

I loved the satin finish on the Star Bass and that's why I ordered it on my Stryker. I love it! Clayton has it on his Reverso too. How's the Star Bass finish at the neck? Satin too?

Nope, this new Star Bass is finished in High Gloss on the neck as well.

I guess a gold bass with gold hardware and gold headstock needs high polish:)

The Reverso is an awesome looking bass, cudda come up with a better name though!! The starbass is also fantastic looking, I gotta admit when I first saw it I wasn't that impressed but the more I see them the more I like them, especially the gold one.

And the Warwick newsletter is awesome!! Just got my first copy and its really interesting!! Shudda signed up sooner lol.

I still use my name-idea for the reversed Stryker: Rekyrts ;)

Adam and his Star Bass, from todays show in Torino, Italy.

I'm not sure what tune he used it for, yet. But I will find out.

Anywho... Here's a picture!

Nice! Very nice pic with a very nice bass!

I wonder how a Star Bass in this colour will look like....

I think this colour would look awesome with an airbrushed pin up girl on the body of the bass as well.

Real steam punk style!

I'll order one.. once;)

Not sure what happened to my original picture I posted of the Star Bass... but here's another... this one from Moscow Aug 25th 2010:

More of Adam Clayton with the Star Bass. He seems to have really taken to this bass. It has replaced the Epiphone Rivoli for "Get On Your Boots" during the 3rd leg of the U2: 360 tour. He's been playing it during "In A Little While" and a handful of other tunes too.
