This summer I went staying for a week at a long time friend, Simion, who's playing the Viola. I had my bass with me because I needed to practice for a gig.
Me & Simion we grew up together and we've both started studying classical music since the 3rd grade
So we know each other for almost 25 years.
Anyway, being on vacation, we just started playing stuff together, mostly because I wanted to test my Score-Reading skills on bass. And we were both curious if we can find a song that would sound decent together
And so we found one that we recorded in one night. It's a classic duet, originally written for viola and cello, but I adapted immediately to bass. This is the result.
