Chromatic Tuners and Power banks (advice needed)

OK guys, TC Electronic Polytune and my Dunlop power brick arrived today. I like them a lot but I am getting a fair amount of buzz from my amp, is it the chromatic tuner? is there any way to sort it out?

OK, so i tried the chromatic tuner with a battery and I got no buzz.. so it must be the power brick, any ideas?

Phoned GAK, I am not sure if its faulty but they said to return it. So I am gonig to.

OK, well the new one just arrived .... and I have the same problem. I am thinking I should see if i can get my money back or exchange it for something else. There seems to be nothing I can do you correct the extreme amount of buzz .....
 
A bad thing! Have you tried it out in different circumstances? Like in another power output in a rehearsal room instead of your house? Maybe away from TL-light or computer screens? Maybe somethings interfering with it?

Yes, something must be interefering with it, but the brick ought to cope with that and keep the hum out. I've been using an old transformer (that originally came from a drum machine 20 years ago) to supply my pedals, but it does produce a bit of hum. But I've got a Boss transformer (almost as old) that is completely quiet. I'm surprised the Dunlop brick doesn't suppress the noise, but you should be able to get your money back since it's patently not fit for its job. And either go to a shop and try a few different supplies to see which are noisy and which aren't, or cruise lots of forums to get some user reviews. Yea, I think im going to go for the money back if I can, because this is really no good, the buzz is almost as loud as the bass .....

I have tried other plug sockets as well as turning off all lights and pc's... still carries on. I have tested the pedal with a battery and no buzz...

According to forums T-Rex fuel tanks are good but they are pretty pricey, for the moment I think I will return this and then pick up something different later on.
 
My grifriend has no problems at all with her Fuel Tank. I own a MXR Bass DI and I love it. No problems.

Have you seen the Junior Fuel Tank?
