When I bought my first Warwick (a Corvette Std. fretless), it was from Guitar Center and I noticed there wasn't a User Kit in the case, so I went back and they dug through the back of the store and finally came up with a User Kit for me. When I got home, I found a certificate in the kit - for a Ltd Ed Jazzman! So someone out there has a nice bass without their certificate. 
I even tried to take the certificate back, but the guys at GC told me it would do them no good.
The sad thing with most GC and several other dealers is they don't take the time to match the number on the RockBag with the number on the bass tag or the serial number on the bass. Usually, even the User Kits have a matching numbered sticker on them...
It is a fact that only LTD ED and CS Warwicks come with a signed certificate, but sadly, there are some owners of these unique instruments who never got their certificates, thanks to dealer care-LESS-ness.
When I bought my LTD ED Thumb Dirty Blonde, I got it at The Bass Place and I got my certificate!
I even tried to take the certificate back, but the guys at GC told me it would do them no good.

Warranty cards and certificates are two different things. If he meant does a warranty card come with every Warwick, then yes, every Warwick should have a warranty card in the User Kit. But I've been told the dealers already register each bass with Warwick after the sale anyway, so the buyer is covered out the door...

You can also get one if you order a Custom Shop instrument, and also if you order one of the special edition basses being ordered by shops around the world now (i.e. The Dragon Series by Backline in Spain, etc.). Also, all signature basses have one the certificates too.

I just picked up a Dirty Blonde here in Maryland, and they lost the rockbag, so I got no kit, no certificate, no warranty card, no nothing. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?
First and foremost, I'd like to know the knob configuration.

Your bass has a 3 band eq so the knobs are;vol/pickup pan,mid,bass/treble.

I would just like to add that the volume stack knob has a pull switch to defeat the preamp and save on battery life - but you still need to unplug the bass when not in use because there is still a small drain on the battery...
The tone stack knob is also a pull switch for splitting the Twin J pickup, but I find it sounds a bit more nasally than most single-coils.
Since my Dirty Blonde was defretted before I bought it, I find the nasally split-coil of the TJ, blended with a little bit of P pickup, gives me a very incredible fretless tone!
And I'm glad they gave you a hardshell case, but I don't get why almost every dealer seems so careless with Warwick products. And when it's a LTD EDITION, the certificate of authenticity is an important part - especially if you ever want to resell (hopefully that NEVER happens - I LOVE my Dirty Blonde to death!). maybe Warwick needs to do something to give incentive and/or make dealers aware of the importance of keeping the "extras" together with each bass!

Thank you. I wish I had found this forum sooner. I've had my Thumb BO Bubinga for about 4 years now, and for the first time ever had two basses that were equal to one another. I've had a Tobias Growler in need of serious repair for quite awhile, but it never came close to my Warwick. Being in a band with two guitar players, I worried about being buried, but it hasn't happened once. I'll get some pictures up soon, after I get my Dirty Blonde set up. Thanks for the knob info. I never leave my bass plugged in, batteries are too expensive.
I completely agree about dealers and their lack of proper Warwick respect. The Rockbag I didn't care about, as I would never consider not keeping my bass in a hardshell case as much as we gig. I don't plan on selling either of my Warwicks ever. I am, however, bummed about not having a warranty card, or c.o.a. I emailed DanaB Goods, but I'm still waiting for a reply.
I look forward to making this forum a daily stop.
