Can't wait to get my 5.1 and 411 cab as a longtime 15" fan I hope I have have made a good choice.
Just thought I would tell you all,wifes not interested! had to tell someone.

I wouldnt worry too much,that 411 will deliver plenty of low end.
What sorta amp did ya get?

Yeh, sorry its the profet 5.1. I would have liked an x-treme but just out of my budget at the moment.

I had a Profet 5.1 & 411 pro cab.Not a bad amp for the low price.

Transistor amps doesn't nessescarily(misspelled, kill me) have a cold sound, but far less warm than tubes.
I've tried transistor amps with warm and sweeeeet tones. I believe woody is mentioning stereotypes

Well, finally I`ll have something worth posting a picture of, so I`ll let you know when my rig is complete.

Actually, I got money from a fund which covers the entire cost of a 411 PRO. I love it!

Thanks all for your replies, amp and 411 have arrived has done one gig and pleased so far. Cold and warm, well that may well be in the ear of the beholder. i am amazed at it's sharp response yet still able to produce nice bottom tone, does for my style. [only have horn on about 1 o'clock]
I think I could learn to like it. It must be quite a sound coupled up with a 15"
I take it that the contour control is similar to that of the older style shape, cutting mid and boosting bottom and highs?
